Animal Crossing New Horizons has become stale at this point and it is almost time for a new update to roll out. The community desperately wants to see new content being added to the game. Nintendo shared a roadmap back in March, that shed light on upcoming events. However, the roadmap is on its tail end with the majority of the content having already made its appearance within the game.

Fans have gone through the Mario festive islands, to May Day Maze, wedding season, and so on. Moreover, August serves as a special month for Animal Crossing as it harbors an amazing event. This is the perfect opportunity for the studio to roll out a brand new roadmap that covers the remaining months of the year.

The latter section of the year holds many important festivals and seasons that Animal Crossing can benefit from. Festivals like Halloween, Firework day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s are all lined up. Fans already know that Nintendo is going to re-run the previous year’s event as it did with Museum Day and the May Day event. Here is a prominent event that the community would love to see make a return with the upcoming August update.

The firework show: This is probably the most important event that Nintendo needs to bring back in 2021. The firework show is everyone’s favorite event of August, as the event brings the villagers out in the open, and fireworks go off. Gamers can find a number of villagers who offer new unique content that certainly makes the event feel incredibly important. You can see new firework items being rolled out as these things simply beautify everything.

Seasonal Items: The upcoming month of August should bring back seasonal clothing in form of kimonos. The studio has already added some of these items into the Nook stop and within the Able sister’s shop. Everything points at the return of the firework event and more seasonal items should arrive with next month’s update.
